Srinagar: On February 14 in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district, 20 km away from Srinagar, a CRPF convoy came under attack. An explosive-laden vehicle hit one of the buses in the convoy of 2,500 personnel and within minutes, 40 soldiers were killed in what became the worst terror attack in the state in the last few decades, and the deadliest against security forces in India. Despite the horrific terror attack, the CRPF men are back to doing what they do the best – protecting thousands everyday in one of the most violent parts of India. NDTV visted CRPF’s 118 batallion in Gund, about 70 km from Srinagar, to gain an insight into the lives of CRPF soldiers deployed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Auto news : Hyundai Motor India Ltd, the country’s second largest car manufacturer and the largest exporter has teased the upcoming QXi (Styx) compact SUV under the Great India Journey project wherein a series of videos will underline the SUV’s drivability in high latitudes and extreme weather conditions showcasing the character, strengths and capabilities. The QXi (codename) was showcased as the Carlino concept at the 2016 Auto Expo. The SUV will embark on a journey from Hyundai Motor India’s plant in Sriperumbudur, Chennai and will be driven across different geographies and weather conditions. As per various reports, the car can be named Hyundai Styx and it will sit below the Creta and will rival the popular Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and Tata Nexon.
